We look forward to our Newport trip every year and this year did not disappoint! Brynn had a great time at the beach playing with her cousins. She loved the sand, from playing in it to eating it. Going on wagon rides with grandma and grandpa to get donuts was a highlight too. Jeff and I went deep sea fishing one morning and had a fun time. Fishing is not for the weak, it really kicked my trash, no joke! Like always we will be looking forward to next year.

Note: As you can tell the pictures are out of order, sorry. But the truth of it is computers, technology, blogging, or really anything of that nature, really isn't my thing. I'm just trying to keep up with computer savvy world and I am a total misfit. But we still had a great vacation anyway.

I may have jumped the gun on this little field trip of ours. Brynn was not as impressed as I had hoped with the entertainment the zoo had to offer. We had fun anyway. I love my girl Gina, she is the best unpaid nanny out there! So consider this post a shout to Gina, woot woot!

There is a new make-up guru in town. Brynn is completely obsessed with make-up. Whenever I put on lipstick Brynn is immediately smacking her lips so I don't forget that she "needs" some too. She even assumes the position when it comes to applying the lipstick.Clearly you can tell that she can't stay in the lines, but with a face like hers I would buy anything from her!

If you are looking for a Saturday to kill before you kill each other, try this place. We actually had a fun time.

I am having a tough time deciding if this blogging @#$% is making me a better person or if it is really just a waste of time. There have been times that it has taken time away from my little girl and really anything constructive. And that alone is a shame!!!! So as the pressure builds to do a new post, I have to admit I may need some time to decide. I have often been curious as to why people even blog in the first place. I am still trying to make sense of mine! My belief is that it is a big world of bragging. Who has the better friends, better car, the best dad and husband, the bigger house, the best clothes, and not to mention kids that never get out of hand!. I must shamefully admit that I am guilty of it too. It is truly embarrassing that blog stalking has become a favorite past time of people everywhere. Pretty sure that I sound like a Debbie downer, but let me assure you that this is not the case. I am just trying to find some reason to all this madness. So please feel free to leave your insight, I really want to know your reason for blogging. Even if you are a stalker. And just to clear the air, my husband is the best, my marriage is successful, my little girl is everything I hoped for, and we are blessed! Can I get a hell ya!

For Valentine's Day Brynn gave her daddy and grandparents finger painted masterpieces. We had such a fun time making a mess. As a mom I have learned that there are times you need to lower your standards and just get messy. It totally bites cleaning up , but when your child has a raw talent for finger painting you just have to go with it. Her artwork is exclusive, but can be seen at the Ford gallery. (our fridge)

We decided to sneek away for the night and go up to the cabin for a family sleepover. We had every intention to take Brynn sledding, but soon realized that the chances of losing her in 6 ft. of snow was too risky. We had fun dressing her in her snow gear anyway.

It is no less than a miracle that we were able to capture a picture of Brynn. And when I say "we" I really mean my ever so talented brother, Devin. With freezing temperatures, snow, and a rambunctious little girl, the odds were definitely against us. But miracles do happen! Enjoy the product of our adventure. I love this little girl more than words can explain!!!!

Jeff and I have decided to join the rest of you in 2008 and leave 1990 in the dust. We got a new computer and we are now joining the ranks of our computer saavy friends (geeks). So if I can catch little down time between Dr. Phil, Oprah, American Idol, Lost, and The Girls Next Door (don't tell my bishop about that one) you just might be graced with our presence through the blog world. Sick little world that it is!! And If I can get Jeff to break up with the weather man, Kevin Eubank, we might be lucky enough to get a comment from him. So just you wait!!!!!!

I can't believe a year has already passed! I totally sound like a mom with a comment like that. For those of you who don't think I have a soft side, I will let you know I spent most of the day with a lump in my throat. I am going to be a mess when kindergarten comes around! I still can't that I have been entrusted with such a sweet little girl. Brynn has brightened my life beyond any expectation I could've imagined. Her smile is enough to soften anybody's heart. ( just look what she has done to me) I don't remember the days when I didn't have a baby on my hip and I am just fine with that. Her sweet wet kisses always remind me what life and motherhood are really about...LOVE!!! ( I'll save the rest of the sappy stuff for church or something) So here is to the best little girl...Love you baby Brynn! What an adventure you have been and I love you more everyday!

Just for the record I am, so far, not a fan of blogging. Although I do enjoy blog stalking. Jeff feels somewhat of an adult entertainer being on the internet. I am completely computer illeterate and posting on the blog for the first time was just too d@$& confusing for me. Let's hope with I can get a blogger 101 from the Duncan's soon.
